Online Reviews for Real Estate Agents

More five-star reviews, in your clients' own words, so Google and AI recommend you.

Your next client reads your reviews before they call

A seller gets your name from a neighbor, then looks you up. A buyer finds you through an AI assistant, then checks what past buyers said. Either way, your reviews do the first interview before you ever get one.

Krista has collected more than 3,645 five-star reviews over her career, and she says they help her rank everywhere. Her point to students is simple: you need a lot of reviews, you need new ones all the time, and you need to answer them. Getting a burst of reviews once and then going quiet doesn't work, because Google and AI both favor reviews that are recent, relevant and responded to.

Why "great job" isn't enough

A five-star review that says "great agent" is nice to have. A review that says "she sold our home fast and helped us move up to the neighborhood we wanted" does far more work, because it contains the words the next client is searching for. When someone asks Google, Maps or ChatGPT for an agent who does what you do where you do it, the reviews that match those words help you get recommended.

The trouble is that clients don't naturally describe you the way you describe yourself. They are happy, they mean well, and they write two words. The fix is not to write reviews for them. It is to ask better questions, so their own experience comes out in their own words and matches how you show up on your website and the rest of the internet.

The KMC Review Generator

KMC built its own review tool, the KMC Review Generator, and gives it to students. Krista's team showed it live, start to finish, at the Build Your AI Dream Team event. Krista used to pay a monthly subscription for a review tool; the in-house app replaced it. Here is how it works:

  1. Set up your business once. Add your logo, pick a look, and get your own review link. Add the sites you want reviews on: Google, Facebook, Zillow, Yelp, or any other site by name and link. You can run more than one business from the same account.
  2. Do the interview. The app asks you about your services, your area, your ideal client and what makes you different, and turns your answers into the questions your clients will be asked.
  3. Your client answers a few quick questions. They tap how it went and what they liked best. The app drafts a review from their answers, in their words, with a short and a long version to choose from.
  4. They post it themselves. One tap copies the review and opens the review site, so the client pastes it, picks the stars and posts it under their own name.

Two tools, one system

The KMC Review Generator is half of the system. The other half lives in the Mashore Method CRM & Automation, and Krista described them working as one: "we have it attached to our Mashore method." Her summary of the result: "all that is automatic."

  • It asks for you. When a deal closes, the Mashore Method sends the review request by text or email, with your KMC Review Generator link in it. A QR code on your open house sign-in table or your listing flyer does the same for anyone in front of you.
  • It collects every review in one place. Connect your Google Business Profile and Facebook page, plus other review sites that matter to you, and every new review lands in one place. You are notified when one comes in.
  • It helps you answer. You reply from the same place, and AI can draft each reply in your tone. You can edit the reply before it goes out, or let the routine ones post on their own.
  • It shows them off. A reviews widget puts your best reviews on your website and keeps them current, so buyers and sellers see proof without leaving the page.
  • It shows you the pattern. Review reports show how many reviews are coming in, how they trend, and what buyers and sellers say most.

The CRM makes sure the asking, collecting and answering happen. The KMC Review Generator makes each review worth having, in the customer's own words. Together they keep fresh reviews coming in without you remembering to ask. See how the Mashore Method CRM & Automation works.

When a client isn't happy

Sometimes a client had a bad experience. Maybe a call went unanswered, or a closing went sideways. When a client's answers say they are unhappy, the app does not write a review for them. They can still post a review anywhere they like. What the app does instead is ask what went wrong and whether they want you to contact them, then emails you an alert right away.

That gives you the chance to call, listen and make it right while it still matters. Sometimes people just want to be heard. A problem you hear about is a problem you can fix, and a client you win back is often worth more than the review.

Answering reviews, and putting them to work

Every review shows up in the app's analytics, with what clients praised and what needs attention. You can answer reviews from the app, and Krista teaches students to answer every one personally, because a real, specific reply tells Google there is a real person behind the business. With the Mashore Method CRM & Automation, review requests can go out automatically after a closing, and you are notified the moment a new review comes in.

On a website built with Krista's team, reviews can appear on the site automatically, which helps it rank and gives visitors proof without leaving the page. You can export the feedback and give it to BOSS, so your AI team can see what clients love, what keeps coming up, and what to fix. Every closing becomes a review, and every review becomes something you learn from.

How reviews fit the rest of the system

Reviews are one layer of being the obvious choice in your market. Your Community Market Leader content makes you known, your website and articles make you findable by Google and AI, and your reviews make you trusted once people find you. Each layer makes the others work harder.

The follow-up matters too. The best time to ask is right after a closing, when the client is happiest, and the Mashore Method CRM & Automation sends the request on time, so asking doesn't depend on remembering it on a quiet afternoon.

Online reviews by audience

Listing agents use reviews to win the listing interview. Buyer agents use them to show their value before a buyer signs. New agents use their first reviews to close the experience gap. Teams and brokers build one brand from many agents, and lenders turn a stressful process into proof that they make it easy.

Your next step

Look up your own business on Google Maps and read your last ten reviews the way a stranger would. Are they recent? Do they say what you do and where? Did you answer them? If not, that is your starting point. To see how the KMC Review Generator, your website and BOSS work together, start with the free AI webinar.

Frequently asked questions

Is it allowed to help a client write a review?

The app doesn't invent reviews. Each one starts from a real client's answers about their real experience, and the client reads it, edits it if they want, and posts it themselves under their own name.

What happens if a client had a bad experience?

The app doesn't write a review for them, and they can still post one wherever they like. It asks what went wrong and whether they want to be contacted, and emails you right away so you can make it right.

Which review sites does it work with?

Google, Facebook, Zillow and Yelp, plus any other site you add by name and link. Your clients see only the sites you choose.

When should I ask for a review?

Right after closing, when the client is happiest. Then keep asking all year, because recent reviews count for more than a pile of old ones.
