Well, if you want to know how to pass the real estate exam on the first try I'm going to tell you something that might shock you! All the questions on the real estate exam are pretty much useless, and they have nothing to do with what you actually do as a real estate agent. That sounds crazy, doesn't it? You spend all this time studying. You must pass this test within a short period of time to become an agent. While you are required to take these classes, very few of the things you are learning are actually going to be relevant to real-life situations, issues, or questions. I was shocked to find that out. So here's how you can pass. I studied with a school like Anthony school of real estate or allied real estate.
Just Pass The Exam
While taking the real estate courses, I did not try to learn anything. I just wanted to pass the test. I just wanted to pass the test. I took a crash course over the weekend after passing the test and all the tests. That taught me how to prepare and take the test. Basically, how to like, think how to like, and how to pass the test. The real estate exam usually has all these questions. I memorized question, answer, question, answer for about two months. I didn't read any wrong answers. I just read the questions and the answers and memorized them. I didn't take the test until I had at least a 90% success rate.
However, where you are going to learn everything is not from taking the real estate book training courses. It's not from actually taking the test. It's from actually doing it in real life. So pass that test, just get your, you know, get your, your, your license that you can actually practice. The next step is to find a very good brokerage firm to work for. What kind of things you should look out from what I'm gonna do on my next video is I'm going to teach you some tricks and tips and things that I wish I would've known.

How Lucrative Is Being In Real Estate?
Prior to being a real estate agent, I was a teacher. I taught third grade for six years. I had a master's degree in education.
After six years with a master's degree and spending all this time, getting my teaching credential after six years, I was making just under $60,000 a year after six years. Do you know, after my first year in real estate, I gave $69,000, almost $70,000 to my broker. My brokers percentage of what she made off of my commission was almost 70 grand. After the first year, it was more money. Then I was being paid as a real estate agent teaching for six years at the master's degree.
So what does that tell you? It tells you a couple things. Number one, real estate can be one of the most lucrative businesses that you'll ever get in. In fact, my best year in real estate, I made right around 1.8 million in commissions earned. That's what I took home. Okay. 1.8 million. And I do not know very many doctors, attorneys, lawyers that can make that kind of money.
I know anesthesiologists who are the highest paid level of doctor that go to school for 13 years, they have to do re you know, for, for forever, they have to work for free. They are literally working around the clock and they make around $500,000 to start on the highest end of an anesthesiologist. I made just barely under that my first year in the real estate industry. Okay. So that shows you that it is very lucrative, but you've got to make sure that are, that you are learning from somebody who is doing what's working now, not what was working a long time ago.

But How Do I Pass The Test For Real?
You want to pass your real estate test? Take the courses, memorize the question and answer. Do the two day or three day crash course, don't go to take that test until you at least have about a 90% success rate. Then understand that all the things that you learned you're never, ever gonna use in real estate.
You're never gonna use in real estate. You're never gonna use it. You're gonna use it from being boots on the ground, by being in on the ground level and doing the work that's where all the knowledge and education's gonna come. So it makes a massive, huge difference where what brokerage you can go to and what they're gonna teach you, how they're gonna help you. I was a hundred percent all on my own. So the next video that you should look under is how to choose a brokerage as a real estate agent. Hopefully I can give you an idea of what you should be looking for as a new agent when you are looking for a brokerage to work for.
