What are the best real estate books that every single new agent should read? This probably won’t come as much of a surprise but I highly recommend my own books! Sell 100 Homes A Year is going to teach you how to utilize digital marketing and social media to stand out. I also recently wrote a book called The Ultimate Lead Gen Playbook. I teach We're not teaching you things like open houses and door knocking. We're teaching you how to utilize digital marketing and strategy to attract business and to stop chasing it.

Another great book is Pre-Suasion by Robert Cialdini. Now the thing about this book that is so cool is it teaches you how you can persuade someone to do something in an ethical manner. It’s so unique and helpful because that’s not really the norm. This means that when you utilize social media and video, you're persuading people to get to know, like, and trust you.

Importance of Lead Nurture

I also highly recommend the book The Gap and the Gain by Dan Sullivan. This book demonstrates that the more you focus on the things you're doing well, the more your brain will know to do well. However in real estate, sometimes it can get a little bit defeating. There's a lot of competition. Things can get hard. But with this book, you can learn to change your mindset in order to be more productive. Another positive to this is that it can prevent burn-out. This means that you can stay in real estate for the long haul.

Think about this. When you plant a seed, if you don't water and cultivate it, nothing grows. But if you nurture that seed, it can produce a massive harvest. This is exactly like real estate. In the beginning, you're cultivating by growing your brand awareness, generating leads, and nurturing those leads. It takes a little bit of time to see results, so do not stop. Do not give up, and recognize all the things that you are doing well, all of your gains.

One of my favorite books ever from Joey Coleman, Never Lose A Customer Again. I’ve read it probably about three times now, and each time I read it, I implement another strategy. One thing that has really stood out to me is the gift-giving strategy.

In real estate, there are so many things that can go wrong. However, this book is about giving your clients gifts throughout the transaction. Then mishaps are less likely to upset them. For example, when they hire you, you can send a small gift. When they close escrow, you can send them a small gift. Not just at the end. Do it throughout the transaction. I have personally added this into my business and clients absolutely love it.

Real Estate Books for Mindset

Psycho-Cybernetics by Dr. Maxwell Maltz teaches you about how powerful our brain is. Maltz talks about how important it is for us to be thinking about positive things. He says that this will help us to implement positive things into our brain and then into our business. By keeping your thoughts clear and visualizing all the things that you want, you can really grow your real estate business.

These are all well-researched authors that have proven strategies and amazing reviews. I highly recommend each of these books for new agents or really, any real estate agent, to maximize your results and to fast track your success.
