Video is the most powerful type of marketing tool. But if no one sees it, it will not work. You have to run ads behind the video content that you are creating. But how long should you run your ads? That is a tricky question. How long? It depends on what kind of content are you releasing. where your clients at on your sales funnel, and many more. Let me explain that further in this video.
So how long should I run my marketing ads on Facebook or on any other platform? Well, that's kind of a tricky question, but here goes.
If your ad is working, keep it running, don't stop it. In many cases, most ads get ad fatigue, but if you are running an ad and your ad is strictly for lead conversion and it is converting, then leave it on and I don't change it. In fact, you may want to put more money and more ad spin behind any ad that is doing well.
But if you are creating ad content just to get your name out there and to do brand awareness. Then it's purely to make sure that everyone knows who you are, to get eyes on you, and as long as you are creating ads consistently and consistently producing content then you typically want to run your ads for around two weeks. You want to make it so that you are showing up in people's newsfeeds around once every three days.
But understand that you are creating anywhere from two to three different video ads per week that are just showing information value, serving marketing videos, answering real estate questions, solving problems that the real estate market is having, educating your community and getting that content out there. Two to three videos a week
What Kind Of Ad Spend Should I Consider?
Each of those videos, you'd want to spend $200, a written ad spin of $200 and I run them for a two week timeframe. Any marketing videos that I have for homes, the exact same thing. I like to run them for two weeks. Now, some of you are saying, well, Krista, right now it's crazy competitive sellers market and houses are selling in a day. Well, shame on you. Don't let the house sell in a day. You should at least market every one of your listings for at least seven days so you give it plenty of time to get full marketing exposure out there.
So in a market like we're having right now for my marketing real estate videos, for the homes that I'm selling, I will let those run for one week. And typically I want the house to be active on the market for one week and I'll just drive as much traffic as I can to those homes because we want to get our sellers massive exposure, massive views.
Conclusion
So that pretty much sums it up as far as timing and how long I run my ads for, but understand this too, depending on where the type of content that I'm creating and where people are at in my funnel, meaning if they're top of the funnel, I'm going to run an ad and develop content. But it's going to look a little bit different as I start bringing people down my funnel.
So there's so much more to this question than just how long should I be running my ads for. We have to think about who's your target audience? What your objective is. Where they're at in your funnel process. And how well is that ad converting? There is a whole strategy to it. If you'd like to find out more feel free to check out all the other freebies on this site.
