There are three Instagram rules that every single real estate agent should be using in their business.
If you are in real estate and creating content, number one, I want you to think about the six C's of creating content. You want to educate people and you want to be as entertaining as possible. Now I know what you're thinking… no you don't need to be funny, be entertaining as far as what's happening in your community. Education and entertainment are probably two of the most commonly used.
I call it the six C's of video marketing that I use most often. So think about this when you're creating your reels. Also, you want to be engaging. You want to be enthusiastic. You want to encourage people to take action, and you want to evoke peoples emotion. So enthusiasm sells, just like confidence sells. So be as enthusiastic as possible when you're creating your Instagram reels, and try to educate people.
Use Trending Music
Take one of your listings that you have and use a trending song on Instagram or on tick-tock that is trending. Music is huge, and then showcase your listing. At the end, you can utilize Canva to actually showcase what you have, like the specs of the home.
Give Them 5 Tips
The next thing would be to give them five tips, or things they need to do before they put their home on the market. This could be five things they need to do before purchasing a home or five things they shouldn't do while they're in contract. Things like taking out a second line of credit loan, loan somebody money, you get the idea.
Become Your Community Expert
Now this is not really real estate related. It's like community related, go and spotlight your three favorite restaurants or your favorite restaurant. What are the three favorite drinks there? Go to the local community and showcase a restaurant or a business and talk about one or two or three things that you like about that business and what makes that business unique. And that while you're then reminding people that you're in real estate, you're supporting your community and you know, what's happening locally.
Also don't forget to make sure that you're using hashtags that are relevant, right? Use relevant hashtags that are trending right now that actually are going to drive more traffic to you. So look at what the local ones are, locals much more better than national, because you want to show up locally. And then also go to the explore page to see what's trending as far as music or anything else, and utilize that music and the things that are trending in your posts, because you'll get much more action.
