Just Do It
I’ve done a bunch of One Minute Mindsets now, offering a lot of tips and techniques that I’ve learned over the years. And I know that every single one is effective for keeping your mindset solid based on my own experience and the experience of my students.
And while I’m really happy to share this knowledge with you, I have to tell you that knowledge without action, it does nothing, nada zip. Lots of people are chronic learners, but I want you to be a chronic implementer. You have to actually do the techniques and practice them to get results. With everything that’s going on right now, it’s easy to open up your morning email, watch the latest One Minute Mindset, and think, “Yeah. That’s a great idea.”
But, then you completely forget about it. It’s not that you’re lazy. We’re all juggling a lot right now. But just hearing about these great ideas is not going to help you keep or get a healthy mindset. You have to take the techniques and actually do them. I’ve said this before, but to deal with everything we’re facing right now, a healthy, positive mindset is so important. When your body isn’t healthy, it doesn’t function and can’t support you in doing what you need to do physically, right? Well, it’s the same with your mindset.
If your mindset isn’t healthy, it can’t function to help you do what you need to do mentally and emotionally. A strong mindset is important at any time. But, just like our physical health, we absolutely need to make our mental/emotional health a priority right now.
I know that many of these mindset techniques are new to some of you. It might feel like adding them to your daily routine is just piling more on your plate. But the truth is, when you do these techniques, you’ll feel more energized and more able to do all you need to do. Your anxiety will go down and your energy and happiness will go up. These techniques and strategies given weren’t made up by me, but are based on scientific research that proves these strategies will help us to be happier, healthier, more productive and efficient.
Mahatma Gandhi was being interviewed many years ago and he said, “I have so much to accomplish today that I must meditate for two hours instead of one.” He knew how important a strong mindset was, especially on tough days. Of course, you don’t have to do all the techniques I’ve taught you every single day. Just find one or two to practice each day and then make them a priority on your To Do list, like the Snap Out of It technique or the tips to help you laugh more. Rotate them and try out different techniques. To review all the ideas and techniques I’ve shared, just go to KristaMashore.com/blog.
And to keep you going, enlist a friend or family member to join you. The buddy system is always a good way to keep us on track, right? Whether it’s keeping to an exercise routine or going after a goal, a buddy helps keep us motivated and accountable. I encourage you to not just watch or read these blogs but to really put them into practice. And remember, let’s be chronic implementers.
I also want to remind you about my free challenge that I’m offering right now, it’s valued at just under ten thousand dollars, and we are doing it for free, remember, I want to be an energy giver.
