Are you shutting down?
What do I mean by that? What do I mean by are you shutting down?
I mean it’s coming to that time of year where it’s getting cold out, and we want to jump in our beds and turn on the fireplace and roast some marshmallows, and all that is amazing. But, many people use this time of the year as an excuse to shut down not only in their homes, but in their business.
I’m going to encourage you not to do that.
I understand that man of our industries, business slows down a little bit. We get a little bit more lackadaisical. It’s slower out there, but it doesn’t have to be. If you are focused, if you are consistent, if you are committed, if you are always constantly moving forward, what you’re going to implement, what you’re going to do, how you’re going to get there, what specific actually items that you’re going to take to help you get from point A to point C to W to X to Y.
Now is the time when you should be learning new skills. You should be taking classes. You should be getting coached. You should be learning something different to apply to your business so you are ready for it.
Strong leaders, successful people, people that are doing the most internet deals, that are closing the most sales, that are getting out the most product out there, they are not stopping. They are relentless right now in their business. They take this as a time to weed out a lot of the other competitors because they know their competitors are sleeping.
Don’t sleep right now.
Now is not the time for you to stop.
You’re always going to have an excuse. There’s always going to be a reason why you shouldn’t join that program or you shouldn’t take that class or you shouldn’t go and work extra hard or do something different or incorporate something new into your business.
There’s always going to be a reason why you shouldn’t. What I’m telling you right now more than ever you absolutely should be going after new skill sets, pushing forward in your business, really, really focusing and moving towards a direction of being a little different than you were last year.
While all your competitors are sleeping and they’re being stagnant, you need to be focusing on how you can make sure that you end 2019 with a bang, that you’re already there.
What I’m telling you is don’t let that be you. Don’t be your own worst enemy and that is Mr. and Mrs. Excuse. Start right now implementing new skills, new mindsets, new trainings, learn something different.
I know that some of you know that you need to make changes in your business and changes scare you, but you know that the way that you interact with change, the way that you engage with change, the way that your mindset is about change make the change really effectively decide whether it’s going to be hard or not.
I’m going to tell you this. All of you know that you need to do something different in your business. I know you do. We all do. Even I do. Constantly, we need to change and evolve.
